The Parkers.  A new and exciting collective that features the talents of Thom Golub on bass, Kevin Parkinson on drums, Bob Tildesley on trumpet and myself on sax and vocals.  We play original music plus music by William Parker and select cool composers.  It is a friendly avant garde group that crosses the borders of sweet and melodious to wild and dissonant with light heartedness and groovy bass lines. We are looking at recording this year...so I will keep you posted for release dates and gigs.

2 of the tunes (magic passes and Abhi Manne) are of a home studio recording session and the others were of a gig at the Yardbird Suite February 17, 2009.  We are on the cusp of recording and look forward to sharing our music with you.
